The body and paint (along with the rest of the car) were completely redone in September of 2005.  There is no evidence of rust repair (no body filler) or frame damage repair. The trunk floor was replaced.  The passenger side door lock opens and closes with the key, the driver's side door does not.  The underbody is factory finished, complete with sound deadener (coded on broadcast sheet as J55).  The name and phone number of the restoration shop that did the work is available to bidders who check in, along with inspection sheets.

Mechanically, the car still needs a minor shake down, typical of a newer restoration.  Headlight dimmer switch is frozen, reverse lights do not engage, Slap Stick shifter needs to be adjusted, the torsion bars have recently been adjusted and the front end aligned for the proper stance. 

Engine starts at the first turn of the key and idles strong.  She holds good steady oil preassure, water temp,  and good charge.  There is a slight drip when the car is off and parked, typical.  The engine sounds superb, with no valve chatter or exhaust leaks.  Inspector comments that engine operation is "Excellent", which a very gratifying test drive confirmed.
