Black paint hides nothing and this car has nothing to hide.  This one shows very well, no orange peel, waves or ripples.  Minor scratches and small dings in  afew places in the stainless steel, but no significan blemishes were found in the paint itself.  All doors open and shut with ease, hood on the drivers side is a little high near the 'A' pillar.  She is trim, chrome and stainless all look very good, with no flaking or pitting.  Not perfet but better than most other cars you will encounter, scoring 287 out of 300

The interior upholstery is supple and fresh.  The inside of the car smells crisp.  Dash has been repainted to match the outside of the car.  Gauges and instruments have a vintage patina.  All switches work.  A modern radio blends in with the vintage surroundings.  She shows nearly perfect a 196 out of 200. 

Engine Compartment is bright and inviting, no leaks or residues, ready for show.  Engine glows in a sem gloss orange.  Very neat scoring a 212 out of 225.

The trunk shows wonderfully, correct spare and jack in place, trunk mat looks new. Only a small area underneath the mat shows some scaling from car being washed the day before.  That can be remedied. Scored a 50 out of 50.

Undercarriage shows nearly stock, era correct wheels, tires and hub caps, original style exhaust right own to the chrome tips.  Very good condition, particularly for a driven car, scored a 214 out of 225.

Summary:  This car is a very stock appearing, a solid number 2 car and the judges agree.  If you are looking for a show car (with a history of winning to boot) you can drive to the local drive-in on weekends with the family in tow, this black and white beauty takes the checkered flag for cruising fun!
