She is finshed in orange with white fin panels.  The paint looks fresh, with factory style texture. Stainless looked newly installed, original polished pieces.  The main hood and ear decklid are no yet installed, but will be as part of the sale.  Front and rear bumpers look original, brushed instead of bright.  If you want gleaming mirror like bumpers, they will need to be redone.  All the doors open and close with ease aside from the left rear passenger side, which was adjusted shortly after the photos were taken.  Hood, trunk and body panels otherwise seem to algin well one to the other.  She is a dry, solid car, with a solid rust-free frame.  She scored a 287 out of 300 for body and paint.

Trunk mat, spare and jack all apear to be in very good condition, looking crisp.  Paint under the trunk mat adheres well with no rust or scaling.  The trunk scored a perfect 50 out of 50.

Engine is a 350 V8, not correct for the car, but a nice choice for cruise night duty.  Engine bay is not show car finished, still it scored well in points judging, 212 out of a possible 225 points.

The under body is clean, showing off oversized performance exhaust system and fat radial rubber that gives this beast a stout stance.  Sweet!

The interior on this car is 7 points from perfection, according to Chevy VetteFest Judges.  The "Dreamsicle" theme of orange and white is carried into the cabin, fresh door panels, hardware, and seats make you feel like new just sitting there.  The original dash has a nice patina that contrasts from the sanitorium most over-restored classics tend to be.  If original paint and dulling of bezels cost 2 points, yet make me feel like I'm really driving something vintage, I'll gladly take the deduction.

Overall, this Dreamsicle is an ideal pick for the family cruisenight car, tinker on the details during the week, pile the grandkids into the back for Ice Cream and  Orange Soda Pop at the car show with your fellow car guys, not just to remember, but to keep living a simpler, more carefree time in your life.
