This 1966 Mustang GT convertible is an uncommon beauty in Emberglow with matching Emberglow Pony Interior. She is an uncommon vision compared to the thousands of other Mustangs that have been sathered in "resale red" to turn a quick buck over the years. Special care was taken to retain as many original, date coded parts as possible. She is equipped today as the day she rolled off the assembly line. All the cues of that show this is a genuine "GT" are there, fog lights, dual exhaust, rocker panel stripes, etc. She even comes with the optional "Rally Pac" instrumentation.
She underwent a complete rotessorie restoration in 2006, including a repaint that took her down to bare metal and back up again AND a complete nut and bolt drive train rebuild. A full photographic chronical of the restoration as well as book of receipts are included in the sale. The recent 3rd party inspection rates the car as an "Above Average, street driven, limited use, and garage kept."
She has logged less than 2,000 miles on her restoration over two summers. She is kept in a cimate controlled garage in between driving seasons, only driven on dry pavement. If you are looking for a pony car that really is a touchstone to the past, she is the one! |
