This 1970 Boss 302 is a well optioned example of the best small block Mustang Ford produced during the Muscle Car Era.  She wears her factory correct Calypso Coral with Black Corinthian Vinyl bucket seat interior.  She was also born with a Rear Deck Spoiler, Chrome Magnum 500 Chrome Wheels, Sport Slats, Tachometer, Console, and even an Electric Clock.  She was completely restored in June 2002 and has less than 1000 miles on the clock since then.  VIN on dash matches front aprons and engine block.  A standard Marti report documents the car's original equipment. 

Interior:  The interior is in very good condition with original soft trim pieces preserved where they could be.  The original steering wheel is boxed up in favor of the brushed steel 3 spoke unit you see in the photos.

Drive train/Chassis:  She is no uptight concours trailer queen.  This ’70 Boss 302 is a super clean driver that presents strong at “show and shine” events.  The undercarriage is detailed, floor boards finished in black satin to protect the floor boards from the inevitable rock chip.  She also currently rides on a set of repro American Torque Thrust rims with the Eagle GTII tires.  The stock-spec chrome Magnum 500's are in like-new and also go with the car.  She boasts other factory correct details like an original air canister and space saver spare grace the truck, held open by the factory prop rod.  With a mere 1000 miles on the clock since resto, you can tell that she have been driven enough to work the restoration bugs out and not too much to start to look worn again.     

Paint/Body:  The paint shows strong, better than factory, according to the inspection report, with no major discernable flaws.  The restorer took the liberty of a few personalized details, the shaker hood is added, as are the '71 spec twist lock hood pins.  She has been painted her factory correct Calypso Coral with the correct reflective black stripes.  A rare and desirable color combination for the Boss 302.

Summary:    

According to a recent 3rd party inspection, she runs and drives out strongly, brake pedal feel a firm, as is the clutch. Shifting is smooth and tight.  The steering stays on center while driving hands off the wheel and also stops without drifting from one side to the other.  She is well optioned, numbers matching, and documented by her Marti report.  Future upgrade on condition to MCA concours driven class is only a short list of items away.  All things considered, if you are looking for a well optioned '70 Boss 302 in a screaming color that you can reliably pound the pavement with then this is the one for you.
