This is a fresh rotessorie restoration on a DOCUMENTED shakerhood Hemi Challenger R/T.   Of the mere 287 Hemi Challenger R/T's produced in 1970, over 150 are accounted for in Galen Govier's registry. Only 15 are factory shaker cars, 10 of which are automatics. Of the 5 1970 4 speed HEMI Challenger R/T's known to exist, only 3 are proven to be a genuine N96 shakerhood by their build sheet.  One is dark burnt orange, another is blue.  THIS IS THE ONLY DOCUMENTED FC7 Plum Crazy Purple HEMI N96 Shakerhood Challenger R/T!  She's equipped with Super Track Pack, Dana60 4.10:1 rear gears to boot!  She also boasts original sheet metal, even the quarter panels and trunk pan.  Original transmission, and rearend complete the package.  A complete visual inspection has been conducted by Galen Govier, rating a 1.1, 1.0 being the best possible score.  Of the investment worthy Mopars currently available, this car holds the most promise for the future.  A potent combination of concours excellence, unimpeachable provenance, jaw dropping beauty, and "holy grail" rarity, you'd be "Plum Crazy" not to want this car in your collection...
