#3130 is a 1968 Shelby GT350 Convertible, born Candy Apple Red, 4 speed top loader transmission and a 3.89:1 rear axle. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt-Away Wheel and the Extra Cooling Package round out the impressive equippment list on an MCA Concours GOLD winning restoration. This beauty is documented by the Marti Report, Shelby American Order Form, and Factory to Dealer Invoices. Of the 4451 Shelbys produced in 1968, only 404 were born GT350 convertibles. The current owner purchased the car in 2005 and has kept and concours shown the car during annual MCA concours events until it earned GOLD in 2009. The car has since been stored in a climate controlled environment, driven sparingly and serviced regularly. The car was built on March 18th, 1968 and delivered to Marshall Motor Company in Mayfield Heights, Ohio on May 10th, 1968. She remained under the ownership of Jamie Yates of New Fairfield, CT until 1988, and Hank D'Amico of Stormville, NY until the late 90's.
